Glideaway® announced it will introduce four new models into its Comfort Base® Lifestyle collection and new FlexStyle Series at the upcoming Winter Las Vegas Market, Jan.18th-22nd. The new additions, the Prelude, Elevate, Rhythm and Cascade, allow retailers to expand the variety of offerings on showroom floors to fill in gaps in pricing and features.
The first two models in the Lifestyle Series come in at the top and low end of the collection. The introductory model, the Prelude, has a single deck design and standard head-up/foot-down option with a wired remote. With its sleek design, this charcoal grey upholstered model provides price-conscious consumers a sophisticated look with simplified features and retails for $699-$799 in queen. The new top model of the collection, the Elevate, features an additional patented lift motor, allowing the sleeper to lift and tilt their bodies while remaining flat.
A step up from the collection’s Grand model, Elevate boasts a premium faux coffee brown leather finish and Bluetooth stereo speakers. The Elevate also features Sleep Enhancement technology that provides Total Body Vibration, which helps lull a person to sleep and offers numerous health benefits, USB charging station, LED under-bed lighting and wireless remote with programmable memory setting. This model retails for $1,899-$2,200 in queen.
Designed to stand on its own or be integrated into the existing Lifestyle series, Glideaway’s new FlexStyle models – Rhythm and Cascade – offer the most popular features of adjustable bed bases available in the marketplace. The Rhythm, a single deck, light gray tweed upholstered base with coordinating black post legs and a black quick-slide retainer bar, includes head-up/foot-down options, wireless remote, Sleep Enhancement technology, anti-snore and zero gravity pre-set memory buttons and under-bed lighting. It also features wall hugging engineering to keep bedside tables within easy reach, even with the head of the bed elevated. Available with headboard brackets, the Rhythm retails for $1,299-1,499 in queen.
The tri-sectional lounger, the Cascade, allows consumers to lower their legs into a seated position with its lounge feature. With three pre-set memory buttons including the lounge, incline and zero gravity, the dark charcoal tweed upholstered base includes all the features of the Rhythm as well as A/C outlets on each bed side for personal accessory charging. Retail price is $1,599-$1,799 in queen.
“The popularity of adjustable bases is growing so rapidly that our dealers were asking us to bring more options to their floors at a broader price range so that they could better reach all consumers as well as increase their margin,” said Glideaway Vice President of Sales Dan Baker. “With these new introductions, we believe no other manufacturer offers the variety of styles and functionality that we do – at the broadest possible pricing.”
